"Learn by Doing" ... a motto I have borrowed for my own life... and the philosophy of one great university.
This was my home for almost seven years while I studied for double majors in Architecture and History (1965-1971)... some of the best years of my life.
Cal Poly University has one of the largest campuses in the United States with 9,178 acres... the second largest land-holding university in California.
Its beautifully situated at the edge of San Luis Obispo, California, amongst pastoral rolling hills just twelve miles from the beach and the Pacific Ocean.

I still like to visit whenever I am in the area to see all the new changes and additons that have occurred since I was a student there.
Its soo big now, I wonder if it still has the intimacy that I enjoyed while I was there.
